Location and public transportation:

It is a quiet area in a busy city where you can find a beautiful park on your doorstep. From the apartment it is only a 5 minutes walking to the Coliseum and Roman Forum, the splendid archaeological area of the Eternal City. The nearby stops of the "metro" B (subway or underground)and buses will easily take you anywhere you need to go. There also is an array of beautiful and very important churches such as San Pietro in Vincoli that hosts one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, the Moses. There are two of the major Basilicas, Santa Maria Maggiore (dating to 315 AD) and San Giovanni in Laterano,which was the first papal seat before the creation of the Vatican. Other landmarks in the vicinity of the apartment include the Domus Aurea, Fori Imperiali, Arc of Costantino, Palatino Hill. The area is rightly served by lovely roman restaurants and shops for any different taste.

From Ciampino Airport take the shuttle until Termini; from Fiumicino airport, the train until Termini railway station where catching the Metro B (Laurentina) for 2 stops until the stop of Colosseo. A short pleasant promenade will allow to easily reach the apartment at Via Capo d’Africa.
