DESCRIPTION

 

This apartment in Rome, stylish furnished, can comfortably accommodate up to three guests and is ideally situated nearby the suggestive archaeological area of Coliseum and Roman Forum and it is rightly served by the public transportation. The flat is situated in an historical palace. The lounge area is endowed with a French bed and a dining table for four people offering the opportunity to savour unforgettable roman meals in a suggestive atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped with the modern appliances the guest expects from such a home in the Eternal City. There is a double bedroom with a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom endowed with a large cabin shower where to relax after the exhausting visits to the roman monuments. The flat is also equipped with the microwave oven, dish washer, washing machine and a refreshing air conditioning plant. Thus, it is difficult to imagine a much more convenient accommodation for the ideal roman vacation after the stay in this apartment.

Location and public transportation:

It is a quiet area in a busy city where you can find a beautiful park on your doorstep. From the apartment it is only a 15 minutes walking to the Coliseum and Roman Forum, the splendid archaeological area of the Eternal City. The nearby stops of the "metro" B (subway or underground)and buses will easily take you anywhere you need to go. There also is an array of beautiful and very important churches such as San Pietro in Vincoli that hosts one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, the Moses. There are two of the major Basilicas: Santa Maria Maggiore (dating to 315 AD) and San Giovanni in Laterano, which was the first papal seat before the creation of the Vatican. Other landmarks in the vicinity of the apartment include the Domus Aurea, Fori Imperiali, Arc of Costantino, Palatino Hill. The area is rightly served by lovely roman restaurants and shops for any different taste.

From Ciampino Airport take the shuttle until Termini; from Fiumicino airport, the train until Termini railway station where catching bus 170 for 8 stops until the stop of Petroselli. A short pleasant promenade will allow to easily reach the apartment at Via dei Foraggi.
