DESCRIPTION

 

This beautiful apartment in Rome is situated on the third floor without lift of a Renaissance period palace. It is located at picturesque Colle Oppio Monti area where, in the roman times, Emperor Titus was used taking his roman baths. This bright apartment is 75 sqm large. Entering in the apartment, it opens into a wide living room with a wooden beamed ceiling and terracotta flooring and a lovely fire place and a full furnished kitchen equipped with washing machine, refrigerator, stove and an oven. The kitchen area has a large wooden table with six seats, two couches that can sleep two persons ,and two big windows. Next to the living room there is a bedroom with a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom endowed with cabin shower. The apartment comes complete with independent gas heating, air conditioning, and a fixed phone line for receiving incoming calls or making local phone calls. Location and public transportation:

It is a quiet area in a busy city where you can find a beautiful park on your doorstep. From the apartment it is only a 5 minutes walking to the Coliseum. The nearby stops of the "metro" B (subway or underground)and buses will easily take you anywhere you need to go. There also is an array of beautiful and very important churches such as San Pietro in Vincoli that hosts one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces, the Moses. There are two of the major Basilicas, Santa Maria Maggiore (dating to 315 AD) and San Giovanni in Laterano, which was the first papal seat before the creation of the Vatican. Other landmarks around the apartment include the Colosseum, Domus Aurea, Fori Imperiali, Arc of Costantino, Palatino hill.The area is rightly served by lovely roman restaurants and shops for any different taste.

From Ciampino Airport take the shuttle until Termini; from Fiumicino airport, the train until Termini railway station where catching the bus number 40 for 2 stops until the stop of Nazionale/Quirinale. A short pleasant promenade will allow to easily reach the apartment at Via Baccina.
